InSideControl, developed by Schneider Electric, presents a sophisticated solution for real-time control and monitoring of KNX home automation systems. This application is designed for ease of use, enabling users to access their installations from both local networks and remote locations worldwide via a VPN connection.

The application establishes a connection to the KNX installation through the KNX InSideControl IP gateway, utilizing either a wireless local connection or a 3G network, contingent upon the user's mobile service options. Furthermore, the InSideControl Builder configuration software allows for extensive customization of the application, enabling the creation of various widgets and controls tailored to specific installation needs.

The key functionalities of InSideControl include:

• Lighting: Control for On/Off, dimming capabilities, and adjustable RGB settings.
• Blinds: Operation of blinds with options for height/slat positioning and roller shutter controls.
• HVAC: Management of operating modes, setpoint temperature, current temperature, fan speed adjustments, and air conditioning controls.
• Other Displays: Monitoring of display brightness, current and voltage levels, consumption stats, IP camera feeds, wind speed data, and notifications related to rain, flooding, wind events, gas detection, and occupancy.

The KNX InSideControl IP gateway supports connections with up to five mobile devices or applications simultaneously and allows control over as many as 20 rooms with a maximum of 20 devices.
